It took me a lot of tries and over 200 deaths, but I got the victory screen with no help! I love how Portal-inspired this is, definitely captured the spirit of the GLaDOS character. It was tempting, but I hung in there, got my good ending...and then restarted just to click the give up button to see what happened.

All in all, a very cleverly put together game, definitely worth the challenge if you're stubborn like I am. Don't give up!

Okay, neat idea, but poor execution

After Level 8, the game instantly kills you every time. You ought to fix that.

Love these elephant games

With simple yet addictive gameplay, I think you've got a hit with these elephant games.

A tip for those of you looking to shave some time off of your run: When you finish the stage, your time is still going. Pause it as you hear the gong, then unpause when you're fully transitioned to the next stage. The only time you'll run into trouble with this is when you're transitioning into one of the near-final stages.

My best run as of this review is 03:31:60 with 12 deaths.

Great game!

To answer the question of the previous reviewer, the beginning may sound like it's from Link to the Past (Hyrule Castle), but if you were to listen for a few more seconds, it's different from the SNES game. That particular mix of the song (Dark Hyrule Castle) was on Wind Waker, therefore the GameCube answer.

Anyhow, it's a pretty good game. :P Nice 32k reward!

Awesome.

Strawberry Clock is the undisputed King of the Portal.

Now.

And forevermore.

I've been waiting for a game like this...

This game is amazing! If you're unfamiliar with the WarioWare series, this is a great introduction to the fast gameplay style. Simplistic controls and amusing mini-games make this an NG gem by far. Adding to its ingenuity are multiple modes and randomized games to keep things interesting. I played this for around 2 hours and plan on coming back to it whenever I need a fix. Very addicting and very well made!

Acceptable DDR substitute, I suppose.

I know Actionscript is tough...I never worked with it, but it looked hard from the few times I used it to string up a stopLoop command and the occasional Play command. For making this without going nutso (adjustable levels, randomized arrows, and scoring system, oh my!), I do commend you. Every other reviewer has pointed out the design flaws, so I'm not going to bust the balls by repeating the same things they said. Just keep up the good work, guys. Clock Crew we'll forever B.

A decent dance dance simulation.

Having DDR set to the Lord of the Rings isn't a bad idea. You at least had the arrow formation right, which is more than we can say for certain other DDR simulations here. I liked the slight replay value you gave it as well with a crazy bonus song to end it all. Ended up acing everything, but not without some getting used to it first. Bilbo's end-of-song commentary was nice, and it was overall a fairly good game. Well done.

Cute, cuddly, but slightly mediocre.

I like the concept of the game. The click and shoot thing may be a bit overdone, but the somewhat unique lookdown perspective spiced things up a bit. It reminded me of a game of pool, really. It is fun for a few minutes, but it really does lack something. There aren't enough elements of surprise to hold the average person's interest for very long. As others have suggested, more hazards would help in addition to power ups and bonus objects to go for (saving an egg from freezing on the ice, perhaps? Could be a timed event...) I'd really like to see another version of this from you if you ever find the time to make one. Otherwise, it's a standalone game that's fun in small bursts. Good job on it.

Nearly perfect Metal Slug!!

I've just recently found out the brilliance and perfection of the Metal Slug series. This Flash game is as close to perfect as I believe anyone's going to get. What I particularly loved was the ability to change the control settings so I could more accurately match what I normally use. I'm sure that slowdown would not have been a problem is I was on a faster computer, so I won't even complain. The graphics were lush and very remiscient of the series, the sounds really set it up nicely, and everything just fell into place. This is brilliant. Top of the line stuff.

Clocked in since June of 2002. I'm part of NG's first and most original Crew out there. StrawberryClock is the king of the Portal. Always and forever.
