The sequel delivers!

Wow, I actually got a lot of laughs out of that one. The movie was great. You even had RupeeClock in there. Guess that's your clock idea, and it works really well. More smooth sprite goodness, and Tails should have hurt the cucco, those things are so annoying. Anyways, fantastic movie.

RupeeClock responds:

Yes, RupeeClock is my idea, I am considering joining the clock crew. :)
It would've been funny to see Tails hurt the Cucco, foxes have a natural skill of doing stuff with poultry. XD

Thanks for the good review!

This is good stuff!

Figured I'd better see this before I watch the sequel. The movie has some of the smoothest sprite animation I've seen in a long time, a great soundtrack (I knew where every song was from. o_o; Sad.), and a great interface. The humor was okay (a bit lacking) but all of the different references made up for that...and that little hidden scene as well. Great work.

RupeeClock responds:

Heh, thanks!

Oh, and I'm sure you'll particularly enjoy the second one. ;)

Decent little short...

It was fantastically drawn and all, but it lacked a lot of substance and feeling. I know, it's a short, quick visual gag, and everyone laughs...I sort of chuckled too, but I was left feeling kind of empty afterwards...oh well.

The drawings, heck, the general graphics showing was spectacular, truly an incredible feat in Flash! It just lacked a good plot. I'm not saying that I hated it at all...I like it, and that's all I can do. You've got my 3 easier than anything else today.

And I know you have longer stuff, but I'm on a slow computer...so...I'll give them a look when my connection speeds up.

Lambi responds:

well, as long as you liked it, thats good to hear

Marvelous!!

Don't listen to what those other twats were saying, this is an excellent production! There was a megaton serving of humor, an original concept, and a unique style of animation that must have taken them so long to get right! Many people may bash the graphics, or the storyline, but they're both a fresh breath of air for Newgrounds. I seriously hope that none of these half-wit reviewers discourage you, because this is definitely a Flash masterpiece!!

RogerregoRRoger responds:

yeah okay mate, seems like most people have a hard time accepting movies with a diffrent storyline then random guys killing each other, and cute graphics instad of sprite, stick, or Dbz..I'm not discouraged, all my movies in my movie list are like this, it's my style, my soul, my..whatever..If i would try to do a stick-sprite- dbz movie it would only suck, and i wouldn't like it for a second..

Strange...

This was kind of an odd animation. No definite conclusion, no side-splitting punchline, no revolutionary animation technique, nothing really 'new' about it at all.

I like it for all of those reasons. In the midst of all these 'revolutionary' animators and 'amazing' new techniques, someone's realized that it's not always a flashy new style or a fresh joke that defines a good Flash.

And that person is you. Good job on this...I'm sure there was less than 6 hours of effort to make. But it still has that air of unfinishing to it...like almost anti-climactic...oh well, this is still my favorite Flash for today.

McRhyme responds:

A strange review to a strange litte short.

Not bad!

From the Locks, I'll admit, I expected much less, especially in quality. You've definitly proved me wrong. This was a nice Flash, good plotline, overall, not too shabby! Some quality work from the Locks.

CommunistLock responds:

Heh,my next one will be better though....

Thanks for the review!

Supreme!!

This has to be one of the greatest game sprite use in a Flash movie yet, even rivaling the work of Randy Solem himself. (I'm think that he helped you in this, seeing as VGDC is included in the credits. :P) I've always been a fan of your music, and with your Flash, it's no different! This was the best way to finish the series, by giving two deligtfully hilarious endings. I couldn't see this any sooner, and I apologize for that, but I'm glad I did get too see it. To any who may find this: This is RECOMMENDED VIEWING! I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy this. The only problem (a minor one at best) I found was that you spelled 'heard' as hearded. It's not required fixing, but not everyone is perfect. This movie came pretty close, though. Excellent Flash material.

ParagonX9 responds:

Thanks alot, I'm glad you like my works on NG :D

The only reason that I've put VGDC in the credits was because his movies caused me to make my own Spritemovies too. :)

That's great!

This is wonderful, no more load times for my favorite TN cartoons! Woo hoo! It was great seeing the crew in reality instead of just as cartoons. It gives viewers that sense of personality behind those voices. Excellent commercial, superb camera work, and overall, truly convincing enough for me to buy the DVD...and to recommend this DVD to others...so...hey, buy the Tomorrow's Nobody DVD, will ya?

Tomorrows-Nobody responds:

Yeah, there's way more live stuff on the DVD, so hopefully you'd dig that too.

Ugh...

The graphics are good, in fact, graet, but your voice and the fan-mail was AWFUL! Don't get me wrong, a lot of time was put into this, but it moved itself along really slowly and was quite dull.

mindlesspuppet responds:

I tried to base most the fanmail off reviews that I've read. As for it being quite dull... yeah, this is true, but considering what it's a parody of, I couldn't really add ninjas doing kung-fu flips or anything.

Excellent!

I watched the first one when it came out, and I've been anticipating the next one for a while, so this is a nice surprise to wake up to...nice use of sprites on that one battle by the way...oh, and your VG music remixes are such a godsend! Keep on going wiith the loops! By the way, a note about the first one: If you watch it twice, it won't lag during the fight scenes. Excellent Flash, Paragon, I look forward to seeing your future stuff.

ParagonX9 responds:

Thanks Surfer_Clock!

Yeah that's right, if you watched it (TOAI1) for the second time it'll run more smoothly. but some users didn't even had the chance to view the whole movie :(

Clocked in since June of 2002. I'm part of NG's first and most original Crew out there. StrawberryClock is the king of the Portal. Always and forever.
