The characters are nice, the animation is eye-pleasing, but the story and voice-acting definitely need some work. I could see this turning into something quite nice with a little more effort.

Thanks,
I am looking around for good scripts & Voice Overs.

Who did you get to provide the voiceover for this? The vocal signature rings true as every infomercial guy -ever.- Too bad he didn't go "but wait, there's more!"

Nicely crafted 'toon!

ZenithQuinn responds:

Thanks bro! an old man who does american voiceovers did it for me haha.

Major props!

I saw this at the #2 spot, thought "Cool, new #2, AND it's a Clock Crew flash!" look at the date, and my jaw dropped. 2 years old and it managed to get into the top 50! Congratulations! It's really a clever short, and the Easter egg's kinda humorous as well. The movie does hold up despite the NG improvements (because we can all remember a time where the site wasn't as awesome as it is now, whether it was the pop-up ads of the early decade or the hentai ads from later years), and end is simply hysterical.

CorpseGrinderClock responds:

Yeah, it had been well-received score-wise when it came out, but kind of slipped under the radar because it wasn't on a major CC holiday (it was late for our propaganda event), didn't get any awards, and wasn't on front page.

Apparently folks had been coming along and fiving it every now and then for a while, and then really came out of the woodwork to support it when it got to the top 100.

And yeah I kind of said that stuff because I didn't want to give Tom and Wade too much grief, because I know they took a big hit financially when they got rid of the porn ads.

Excellent retelling

This is a very creative interpretation of that fateful day/week. Hard to believe the Crew's been around for 9 years...congratulations on the high marks for this Clock Day Flash, and do keep up the awesome work!

Strawberry Clock is the king of the Portal. Always and forever.

LotusClock responds:

You should rejoin and make Flash again. As you can see, we aren't dying anytime soon, and there's always more room for new Clock flashes to make people happy.

Let us enter 2010

I don't think you should've revealed that so early! D= Don't you think it could've waited 'til Clock Day 2010?

Ahh well, now that all is finally revealed, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

MiracleFruitClock responds:

the world will be shocked by this great revealation

A very artistic Clock Day submission.

I feel like it's a sort of dreamy post-apopcalyptic world PC...post clock. Creepy vibes throughout, great choice of background music, and there's always that introspective quality to it. It wants to be looked at, to be examined, but always poses a question of "what if..."

Although I hope that new clocks and old clocks alike will continue the traditions begun by folks like Strawberry, Orange, Raspy, and Knotts, the end lays somewhere in an inevitable, unchangable future.

Way to give us a look at what that might be like in an alternate universe. I'm totally digging this as one of the best Clock Day submissions for '09.

PropagandaClock responds:

It brings warmth to my happycenter when one such as yourself reviews Clockday.

You should spread the good news of the flash to each and everyone you know! Quick!
The president needs to be warned !

Happy Clock Day!

Well-constructed Flash.

There wasn't anything that could be improved here. I'm waiting for Smash Bros. Brawl to grab a Wii myself. It'll be worth the money when that comes out.

All in all, you're quite talented. Keep up the good work.

Wario Ware's the console clincher for me

Clearly thought-out, brilliantly executed.

Congratulations on netting the Daily #1 award. You obviously deserve it. I especially like the way you've presented the less fortunate side of Christmas without bashing the viewers over the head about how they should donate money to charities. The message is simple and clear: "Take the time to think about those who aren't getting fancy packages, huge holiday meals, and relatives to spend the holidays wth." A kind gesture goes a longer way than a few quarters to a bell-ringer...now I'm not saying you shouldn't give, but helping those in need collectively is going to take a lot more than donations.

Fantastic Christmas Flash, definitely recommended viewing!

Eternal-Panda responds:

You're probably giving me a little too much credit and taking the message farther then I meant it to. But if that's what you're getting out of the movie then fantastic.

Merry Christmas

Brilliance in a can in a box.

Yhey, I got mention'd! <3<3<3 Thanks. This was a pretty unique movie.

PirateClock responds:

how could we forgot you! <3

Clocked in since June of 2002. I'm part of NG's first and most original Crew out there. StrawberryClock is the king of the Portal. Always and forever.
